New material instantly detects target genes
Release date: 2014-06-17 Researchers at Nagoya University in Japan have recently developed a new material for genetic testing that uses a small amount of blood to detect target genes in seconds. A common method of genetic testing today is to extract DNA from blood and replicate DNA fragments that may contain the target gene to find the target gene.
