Fermentation microorganism growth moisture control In the litter fermentation, suitable water is needed to maintain the activity of microorganisms, and different commercially available starters may have different requirements. For Kinpo's starter, we need to control the moisture at around 60%-65%. The standard of judgment is to grab a handful of material and if the water between the fingers leaks, but does not drip, and the ground is scattered. The control of moisture during fermentation is also critical. The vitality of the water-deficient bacteria decreases, and the fermentation rate is too slow. If too much water is contained, too many saprophytic bacteria grow too fast and affect the fermentation quality. 4. Fermentation of microbial fermentation The prepared materials are mixed with strains in the process of building piles. The stack height is controlled at 1.5 meters, the pile width is 2 meters and the length is 2-4 meters. After the start of fermentation, the oxygen supply should be controlled. The main method is to complete the work by turning over the material. Oxygen is a necessary condition for ensuring the respiration of beneficial bacteria. If the lack of ventilation will cause the respiratory resistance of beneficial bacteria to be blocked, it may also lead to fermentation of anaerobic bacteria, resulting in odor. The starter of the golden baby will rise to 50°C after 48 hours of fermentation and will reach 65°C after 72 hours. At this point, the temperature of the fermenter is controlled by tipping. The material provided above allows the fermenter to produce two high temperatures. 5. End of fermentation of microbial fermentation Ordinary fermentation will be completed within one week. The standard for the completion of fermentation is that the material is dark brown. After the material passes the above high temperature, the temperature will automatically drop to room temperature. The litter that is completely fermented has no odor and the harmful bacteria or eggs within the deciduous tree are completely killed. In addition, some beneficial microorganisms will remain in the fermented material. If the above materials are used as organic fertilizers to treat better organic nutrients, the bacteria will also enter the soil as nutrients for microorganisms to assist the plants in absorbing various elements.
