Non-demolition inspection of oil pump

Difficulties in starting the engine or automatically shutting off the engine are often caused by insufficient fuel supply to the pump. The inspection method without disassembling the oil pump is: 1 Check the oil suction height. The oil pump should be able to suck oil up from 1m below the oil pump. Otherwise, it can be regarded as insufficient oil supply. 2 Check the wear of the piston push rod and housing bore. When the oil pump is working, observe the drip amount at the drain hole at the front side of the pump casing. The drip amount should not exceed 6 drops per 1 min; otherwise, the wear is serious. 3 Check the inlet valve seal. Remove the hand pump first and use your fingers to compress the inlet valve spring 0.5mm~1.0mm. Do not allow the oil to flush out of the valve. If the inlet valve is not tightly sealed, the oil level will rise slowly (do not press before checking) Pump). 4 Check the oil valve and piston wear. First hand pump pressure several times, and then gently press the handle to observe the rise of the hand pump, if not move it shows that the wear is small; if it rises slowly, it shows that the valve seal is bad or the piston wear is more serious; if the rapid rise It indicates that the oil valve cannot be closed or the piston wears badly.
