The dry thawing melt tank is easy to clean and easy to disinfect. The water temperature tank is not easy to clean and disinfect. Warm water also tends to grow a lot of bacteria. The outer surface of the dry method plasma bag and the operation table are dry and clean, and there is no pollution from the surrounding environment. In the wet method, when the plasma bag is removed from the water, a large amount of bacteria and sewage will splash everywhere, causing pollution of the console and the surrounding environment.

The multi-function constant temperature thawing instrument does not need to change water, saves water source, has constant temperature, and is easy to operate with intelligent control. In the wet method, the water bath blood lysing machine also needs to change the water frequently, causing waste of water and pollution of the environment.

At present, many domestic hospitals are using direct water bath temperature melting. The plasma bag is directly placed in water to soak and thaw, and it is easy to cause blood pollution of pathogenic microorganisms from the water. It has been reported that the rate of adverse reactions after the addition of fresh frozen plasma accounts for 1.7%. It is also reported that [1] the plasma transfusion rate is 2.9%, and the response rate of fresh frozen plasma in our hospital is 1.1%, and it is reduced to 0.58% after 2008. In the above reaction, whether the reaction rate is increased by the difference in the way of melting the fresh frozen plasma is very worthy of attention.

Although the multi-function constant temperature thawing device has many advantages, but it also has shortcomings, the melting time is 10 minutes longer than the wet method, and the thermal insulation facility in the melting chamber needs further improvement.

In summary, the dry method is considered to be significantly better than the wet method. In order to ensure the safety of blood transfusion, to prevent the risk of blood transfusion at an early date, it is recommended to use the dry method instead of the wet method.
