Broccoli harvesting technology

Unlike broccoli, broccoli has a short harvest period and is only 1 to 2 days under high temperature conditions. If it is not harvested in time, the buds will be loose and the buds will show yellow petals, reducing the value of the product. When buds have been fully grown, the buds have not been released and the whole flower bulb should be harvested in a timely manner if it remains firm and intact. If larger buds are to be harvested, the side branches should be removed in time to concentrate the nutrients for the growth of the main curd.

After the broccoli is harvested, the buds are easily loose under high temperature conditions, exposing the yellow petals until the water loss withered, losing the value of the commodity. Therefore, harvesting should be carried out in the morning, and avoid sunlight, packaged into a refrigerated carriage, and shipped early for sale.
