Differential gap adjustment technology

The reason for the replacement is that the differential gears, planetary gears, planetary gear shafts, shaft holes, and thrust washers are heavily worn, causing the tractor to run in a straight line and steering difficult to turn. The main cause of the excessive wear of the differential parts was identified as the clearance adjustment was too small.

The author's years of experience summed up the adjustment method for the differential gap of the tractor:

1 Use jacks to push one side drive wheel up from the clutch ground and support it firmly.

2 Loosen the lock nut of the centering adjusting screw of the right steering shaft bearing cover, turn the driven wheel while turning the adjusting screw until the driving wheel is turned with a single hand, and then slightly loosen the adjusting screw. A single hand can easily turn the drive wheel.

3 Tighten the lock nut of the adjustment screw.

4 open the transmission cover review: use the crowbar left and right toggle the two sides of the steering shaft gear should be no gap, and then turn the drive wheel to make two planetary gear at a position on the next, with the thumb and index finger to grasp the central reduction gear left and right swing There should be no clearance.
