Fruit trees will be cut in the spring

The spring shearing of fruit trees is a supplement and perfection of winter cutting. Generally, it can be clearly identified when the fruit buds are budding, and it is best to complete before the buds are enlarged. In the spring shearing of fruit trees, young trees, weak trees or early flowering varieties should be cut first, and young trees, wang trees and late flowering varieties should be cut afterwards. The spring shearing of fruit trees depends on the specific conditions such as species, age, and tree vigor.
For trees in the full fruit period, flower buds full of leaves and leaves are selected, and flower buds with thin leaves and few leaves are removed. According to the ratio of growing branches to fruiting branches of 3:1, the branches are trimmed to make the load more reasonable.
For trees with a large amount of flowers, weak and weak shoots should be properly removed, and strong branches and strong shoots should be reserved. Aging and dense shoots should be renewed. Short and medium length branches should be properly cut, and the remaining fruit branches should not be less than 1/3. For young trees with fewer flower buds, more flower buds should be left and dense vegetative branches should be eliminated. For young trees, in addition to normal short cuts on the branches, the other branches should be as long as possible, less short cut, to promote short stems, thinning dense branches and leggy branches. At the same time, for the side branches or other standing Wang branches, sticks, ropes, etc. should be used to open the angle.
